At the end of each semester Architecture Program Chair David Hinson leads a Grades Meeting with respective faculty reviewing students grades for the ending semester. This meeting helps students to keep on track with their program of study and sets academic actions for grades of D or lower in all required classes. The meeting also provides a forum for faculty to nominate students for commendation who have set the standard of excellence within the studio. While there was excellent work done in the first year, because the course is graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory, no commendations are awarded. The fifth year work will be recognized with a thesis exhibition and prize in the spring semester.
