Finally!!!

Since our last blog we have actually begun the deconstruction process. We removed the interior drop ceiling, but left its frame up for additional support, and we have removed and temporarily tagged all the hard wood flooring in the church. Due to our current time crunch we had to take the floor out before we could get storage units, so we separated the boards by section and laid them out on pallets covered by plastic sheeting. Now the entire ceiling and the floor joists are completely exposed. Our shoring, an expensive but necessary safety precaution, was supposed to be delivered last Wednesday, but due to unforseen circumstances the delivery was pushed back until today. We, with a crew from PCSHD, are erecting the shoring in the interior of the church tomorrow. Also, we are currently working on a comprehensive cost estimate and are still trying to get cell phone reception at the site.
