We had been preparing for the crane and boom truck to be here today, but some minor implications with the company pushed them back until tomorrow. It really wasn’t that big of a deal after we really thought about it; we still had a lot of work that could be done. Early in the morning we split up into groups and we got a lot of things done. The whole church was braced, we moved the brick foundations of the back three wings (that is a lot of bricks to move with two wheelbarrows), we loaded up all of the pieces that never made it in the trailer, and we cleaned up and organized things. Johnny Parker- our handy man- came out and taught Erin how to weld some slides on the arch jig. That was amusing to watch. The rest of the day we were up in cherry pickers knocking the roofing out. Arches come out tomorrow! Should go good. Should be fun.
