….Desperately wanting to leave for New Orleans

Five beams left on the front wall of the church came down before lunch. A newly invented system which I highly doubted would ever work shamefully did. In Eric’s genius plan, invented at the end of the day, we loaded dovetails far away from the trailer by spanning them across 2 wheels barrows where they could be easily rolled down the hill. After that we were in serious need of some R&R after a rough past few days so we cleaned up the site, did a little organization, finished loading the trailer with the wood members, and headed home to Newbern where we could pack our bags for a crazy weekend in New Orleans. Not knowing what we’d be in for when we returned…we would’ve never known: heavy wood beam moving, organization, tarpoleums, and daily unforgettable trips to Subway.
