Today is Easter Sunday…April 8, 2007. Today was not an ordinary Easter Sunday. After spending the weekend at home, I headed back to Newbern with my mom and uncle to show them around Rural Studio. They were amazed to discover that what I had been referring to as the “red barn”…wasn’t a barn at all…but a building rusted to the core. After showing them all the main attractions…we said our goodbyes…and I headed back to the Morrisette House. Instead of spending my afternoon working quietly on my watercolor…Cameron, Chris, Adam, and I went to our very first Newbern baseball game. It was like nothing I had ever seen…blasting stereos…and no helmets? Very hard core. It was wild. A very eventful Easter…
