Yay, another 7 am start to our work day! It began with lots of archeological findings. Amy C., April, and Lea formed our archeological team today and found many pieces of stained glass in the walls. Some newspaper stuff and a couple glass bottles were found as well. Linda stopped by and was quite impressed with their discoveries and took them away with her. Amanda and Nicole worked on labeling the skirt boards around the church and the rest of us worked on taking down the rest of the lath and plaster. Katie and I had the thrilling job of taking off the plaster on the interior of the windows. It was pretty tough work especially since we battled huge spiders the entire time. They were extremely scary.Three of us were not at the site though. Jessica, Courtney, and Cassandra were working very diligently at the Red Barn on the new foundation.
Instead of eating our lunch on site today we all decided to go eat at this pizza buffet in Selma. After lunch we all were a bit crazy and silly. That was our excitement for the day before we had to get back to tearing down plaster and cleaning up the rest of the site.
I would say we had a pretty productive day.This was the final day before our Thanksgiving Break for most of us, but some of us are staying behing to work tomorrow. I hope they enjoy themselves and that everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Eat lots of turkey.
