Delirious?… Us?
Traveling to the church at 6:15 in the morning, the Second Years thought about the circumstnaces in which life has now found them….MEANING: Working on the church from 7-5, eating quick and interesting meals at the Morisette, and rushing to the Red Barn to work till early in the a.m. each day and night is taking its toil. The church’s bones are exposed now, and have been since before Thanksgiving with no word as to when the rest can be taken apart. Needless to say the church is tired of being naked and we are tired of watching it be.
Nevertheless, we stared at it all day anyway today. Those of us who have AutoCAD structure drawings finished them and began tagging the church pieces while they hang in the air….we still haven’t figured out what exactly is holding our beloved building up. Others of us cleaned up the piles of wood and plaster and built boxes to protect whats left of the windows. Tonight we are working on sections and our ‘This I Believe’ papers for Jason—which, by now, we hate and are sorry we ever believed in ANYTHING. Tomorrow we begin early again and will undoubtedly spend the night in the Red Barn finishing our sections for Dick.
