Today showed progress and multi-tasking at it’s finest. While holding the final arch with the boom truck, the crane took down the 5th arch quickly followed with the last arch. During this time, Walker lead the dismantling of all horizontal members that helped to support the North, South, and East walls. As the arches hit the ground, a crew was waiting to remove bolts and pack them on the back of a flat-bed truck. Candace operated one man-lift on the South wall, successfully taking down the wall in the afternoon. The two Nicks operated the second man-lift on the opposing wall, also successfully disassembling the structure. The ground crew tirelessly moved each member to the trailer until all that left standing was the East wall, supported with Walkers bracing.
