dust is flying
For the first time I saw a burned house. We were supposed to have watercolor class with Natalie at 8 Am , but Dick Hudgens canceled her class, so all of us could go to a burned house in Greensboro and help the owner clean the house; It was burned 5 years ago, so it was not only black but also dark and dusty; It was barely possible to breathe. It was a rainy day, and we all were covered with dust and wet with rain. After a short while working, Frances’ allergies started because of all the dirt and dust; Her eyes turned red and her face swelled , so Candace, Jamie, and I took her to the hospital, and doctors gave her a shot, eye drops and other medicines. By the time we got to Morisette house it was 1 Pm, and everybody else had finished cleaning and they were back, so Dick showed us slide shows of historical buildings and gave us lecture. Adam was sick all day and he slept in the pod while we were watching slide shows. Some people joined Dick and had nice talk after lecture for the rest of the evening. Eric, John, Erin, and Fuller left Newbern to spend the weekend in New Orleans, and I started doing homework …
Later on that night people from Auburn started showing up because of the AIAS tour and conference at weekend, and they stayed in the house which was not the deal, but I was happy to see them…
